1 to 1 Alcohol Ink Lessons
Private Alcohol Ink Lesson: 90 mins/ $120
1 to 1 Virtual or in person. Whether you are a beginner who needs all the basics, an intermediate who is a little stumped (those metallics can be tricky!) or an experienced ink artist in need of a some inspiration, this is a custom built class for your needs. If the lesson is virtual, we will have a consultation prior to the lesson to make sure you have the supplies you need, and to make sure we are on the same page regarding what you want to focus on. If the lesson is in person, supplies will be provided.
Private Alcohol Ink Lesson/ Rose Course: 2 hrs/ $160
1 to 1 for those who want a longer lesson, or to focus on my signature rose technique. If you are interested in learning the roses, you'll need to book the 2 hour lesson and show me that you have experience with inks. Please reach out BEFORE purchasing your lesson. This can be done by taking another lesson with me, or with a light portfolio review. This is not an introductory technique, and the last thing I want is someone to feel like they didn’t get what they came for because they weren’t ready. This class is longer, because the roses take a long time to make.
What it will look like virtually:
Once the consultation is complete and the lesson is scheduled, you will receive a link for a Zoom lesson. Once you’re logged in you will see me in 2 views. One camera on my face, and another set above my paper on a tripod so that you have a birds eye view of my paper. In order for you to get the most out of a lesson, a similar set up is ideal, however, I understand that multiple devices and tripods may not be available. Keep in mind it will be difficult for me to guide you if I can’t see your paper, so figuring out a way to rig a device, or angle your camera towards your paper will be necessary, if you expect feedback.
My goal is for you to get the most out of the lesson. While some of these requirements may seem over the top, it’s intent is to guarantee a quality experience and ensure you finish your lessons confident in your new skills. At this time, I don’t think I can give that experience with group workshops, so zooms will be limited to private lessons.
